On Wednesday 3rd May we had our annual cultural day celebration. It was bigger and better than last year, with more students involved and more cultures and nationalities represented. Each coaching group was tasked with creating a display board for one country that someone in school is linked to. The displays were magnificent. Stalls were set up, students were dressed up to represent their countries and music was played out across the school. The highlights of the cultural celebration were definitely the impromptu dance in the main hall, and the opportunity for the students to sample a variety of food and drink from around the world from okra to gyros to a Somalian dip that wasn’t as mild as it had been advertised!
