‘On your marks, get set, Bake!’
What a fantastic day of students competing in house groups for the coveted title of ‘Wetherby Bake Off Winner’.
The 4 rounds were
- Round 1 – Savoury Scones.
- Round 2 – Cupcakes
- Round 3 – Swiss Roll
- Round 4 – House Pizza.
The smell coming from the food block throughout the day was wonderful, which was confirmed during the Judges taste test, with Mrs Carter giving out her ‘Hollywood style Handshake’ to the most impressive bakers.
Well done to Leo, our overall winner with his impressive cooking skills. Ms Jefferson had the honour of presenting Leo with his ‘Wetherby Bake Off’ chopping board’.
An excellent day and well done to all the students that took part in the event.
