At Wetherby High School we know that as well as academic success, we have a responsibility to prepare students for life outside of school. This is why we have ‘Life Learning’ sessions built into the school day.

Life Learning comprises of three different sessions per week.

In Venture, students take part in a range of House competitions. These require the students work as part of a team across different year groups, developing their communication, creativity and sense of community.

PSHCE sessions are designed to give the students the opportunity to discuss and debate topical issues and world affairs. It is about students developing their understanding and opinions and having the confidence to effect change in their communities and society.

Endeavour allows students to choose to take a part in either an activity they have a real passion for or an activity they want to try for the first time. The whole staff team deliver a wide range of activities bringing the school community together and developing character.
