It was a pleasure to welcome the BBC Bitesize roadshow into school today, hosted by sports reporter and presenter, Ross Fiddes. Our students heard from Caitlin Mawhinney - Set & Costume Design Kerry Maule - Director/Producer at Grow Productions Eleanor Alpar - Researcher at BBC Children's & Education Each talking about their chosen careers and pathways they took into the creative industry. It was fantastic to see our students in all year groups asking so many questions and really engaging with the roadshow.

What a talented set of students we have at Wetherby. It takes an incredible amount of courage to stand up in front of the school and perform with such enthusiasm and passion. We had students singing, playing musical instruments, dancing and gymnastics. All our students did a fantastic job. I have received an unbelievable amount of positive feedback from students and staff who were blown away with the performances. A huge well done to EH Year 9 (Bremner) who came 3rd, EF Year 9 (Trueman) who came 2nd and VL Year 11 (Robinson) who won the Wetherby's Got Talent with her [...]
